We build homes for the families of our children, ensuring they have a safe place to grow and thrive. We send out food parcels to those in need, bringing nourishment and relief. We work on machambas, cultivating gardens that provide families with fresh, sustainable food. And whenever donations come our way, we make sure nothing goes to waste — sharing what we cannot use with those who need it most.

February 8th, 2023, marks the day Goodwill was born — the day we first met the children who are now part of our family. It was more than just an opening; it was the beginning of a journey filled with love, hope, and commitment to making a difference.

From that very first moment, we knew this was more than a project. It was a home. A place where children would be nurtured, families would find support, and a community would grow stronger together.

Since that day, we have built more than just a space — we have built connections, created memories, and laid the foundation for a future where every child feels safe, loved, and supported.

The Heart of Goodwill: Our Home, Our Haven

Welcome to our home — a place filled with love, laughter, and endless possibilities. Our space includes four cozy bedrooms where the children rest and dream, a playroom where their imagination runs wild, and a dedicated volunteer room for those who join us on our journey.

In the heart of our home, we have a kitchen and outside kitchen, where meals are prepared with care, a laundry area to keep everything running smoothly, and an office for organizing all that makes Goodwill thrive. We also have a special donations area where we store items received from generous supporters, ensuring they reach the families and children in need.

Beyond the walls, we've created spaces for the children to grow their own gardens, play soccer, build sandcastles, and simply be kids. Our communal area is where we come together to eat, learn, and share stories, making it the heart of our home.

Supporting Mothers and Their Loved Ones: A Better Future

Every mother deserves support, care, and hope for a brighter future. Through our initiative, we stand by mothers and their little ones, ensuring they receive the essentials they need to start their journey with confidence.

We prepare care packages filled with necessities for mothers and provide startup products for newborns, helping families take their first steps together. By visiting hospitals, we personally deliver these gifts, connect with mothers, and listen to their needs — because real support starts with understanding.

Through our own efforts and the generosity of donors, we continue to provide for hospitals, ensuring that every mother and baby receives the help they deserve. Together, we are creating a future where no mother faces the journey alone.

Playful Memories: Exploring Our Town

Our adventures go beyond our home, giving the children the chance to experience the beauty and excitement of Vilanculos. We spend afternoons at the red dunes, climbing, running, and enjoying a picnic with a view. At the lakes, we cast our fishing lines, sharing stories and celebrating every catch. The beach is our playground, where we play soccer, swim, and soak up the sunshine.

We also take part in local events, joining in the fun and connecting with our community. Some days, we unwind at Vilankulo Beach Lodge, enjoying pizza, laughter, and a chance to relax. And for a special adventure, the children get to go horseriding, exploring the shoreline on horseback and making unforgettable memories.

These moments allow the children to be free, active, and joyful — experiencing all the fun and wonder their town has to offer.
